
Cory Garriga is building his career in public service through roles focused on policy, constituent services, and community oversight. From 2021 to 2025, he served as President of the Jersey City Young Democrats. He is the Director of Constituent Services for Hudson County Commissioner Bill O’Dea, handling resident casework and coordinating solutions across agencies.
Within the Latino Action Network, he has been a steering committee member, former Endorsements Chair, former Vice President of Communications, and current Vice President of Public Policy, where he advances the organization’s legislative and advocacy priorities.
He serves as Vice Chair of the Jersey City Historic Preservation Commission, a regulatory board that reviews construction and development in the city’s historic districts. He also serves on the Hudson County Mental Health Board.
He lives in Jersey City with his wife and son.
